Job summary

Bronco Wine Company in Ceres, CA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic 1 to support safe operation of facility and process equipment. The role involves routine lubrication, PMs, inspections, and basic repairs under supervision, with growth toward higher classifications.

The position offers hands-on exposure to pumps, gearboxes, valves, electrical controls, refrigeration, and facility utilities, with opportunities to learn and advance in a manufacturing/winery setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous mechanical, industrial, winery, or production experience preferred.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Maintenance trade school or related technical education is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to learn refrigeration, utilities, mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility and process equipment using proper maintenance techniques and established PM intervals.
• Perform assigned preventative maintenance, inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and repairs through PMs and work orders.
• Complete assigned work, PMs, and work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Make basic mechanical repairs and adjustments under the guidance of senior staff.
• Work with other maintenance personnel in repairing, rebuilding, installing, and maintaining equipment in the shop and plant environment.
• Develop basic working knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, motors, valves, and pneumatic systems.
