Job summary
Bronco Wine Company seeks a Maintenance Mechanic 3 to lead advanced maintenance across winery processing equipment, electrical controls, and critical utilities. This role requires diagnosing complex problems, performing major repairs, and improving equipment reliability to support safe, efficient operations.
The candidate will apply expertise in mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and HVAC/R systems, including ammonia refrigeration, to guide junior technicians and drive preventive maintenance
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Advanced mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting in manufacturing/winery environment.
- Experience with electrical systems, PLCs, sensors, instrumentation.
- Experience with industrial refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration, HVAC/R, and utility systems.
- High school diploma or GED; technical/skilled training a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate, troubleshoot, and repair ammonia refrigeration, SO2, boilers, and utility systems.
- Perform advanced maintenance on winery processing equipment, conveyors, pumps, motors, and drives.
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, controls, instrumentation issues and take corrective actions.
- Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and manuals; mentor Mechanic 1 and 2 staff.
