Job summary

Aligned Talent Acquisition is seeking a Junior Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney in Dallas for a premier Am Law 100 firm. This early-career role focuses on sophisticated commercial real estate finance, secured lending, and related transactions, with exposure to lenders, borrowers, developers, and investors.

You will support drafting and negotiation of financing documents and assist with closings under mentorship from experienced attorneys in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school is required.
• Texas bar admission or eligibility to become admitted is required.
• Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills are essential.
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and client service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple real estate finance transactions simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate loan documents including notes, mortgages, deeds of trust, and security agreements.
• Assist with acquisition, construction, refinancing, and other real estate finance transactions.
• Coordinate closings and oversee delivery of closing documents and deliverables.
• Represent lenders, borrowers, developers, investors, and financial institutions in complex deals.
• Manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Junior Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney

$180,000 – $275,000+

Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for a Junior Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney opportunity with a leading Am Law 100 firm in Dallas.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career transactional attorney looking to develop sophisticated experience in commercial real estate finance, secured lending, and real estate transactions while working alongside experienced attorneys and representing lenders, borrowers, investors, developers, and other sophisticated clients.

Ideal Background

• 1–3 years of real estate finance, commercial real estate, finance, or related transactional experience
• Experience with or strong interest in commercial real estate lending and secured finance transactions
• Experience representing lenders, borrowers, developers, investors, or financial institutions is preferred
• Experience assisting with the drafting and negotiation of loan agreements, promissory notes, mortgages, deeds of trust, guaranties, security agreements, and other financing documents
• Experience with acquisition financing, construction financing, refinancing, and other real estate-backed lending transactions is a plus
• Familiarity with title, survey, zoning, and other real estate due diligence
• Experience assisting with transaction closings and coordinating closing documents and deliverables
• Strong drafting, research, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted
