Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP seeks a Junior Real Estate Analyst in Dallas to perform research and analysis for the Valuation Services Department. The role involves market studies, data gathering, and preparing market reports, with in-office work required for the first four months.

You will conduct interviews with authorities and developers, analyze economic trends, and assist in appraisals of developments. A related bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related area and 1–2 years of Real Estate research or market analysis.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle history check on hire.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong primary and web-based research.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to synthesize findings.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage a fast-paced, varied workload.

Responsibilities

• Conduct economic and market research for designated market areas via interviews and web resources.
• Identify subsidized, tax credit and market-rate comparables.
• Perform market analyses, screenings, rent surveys, and demand analyses.
• Interview housing authorities, planners, and developers to understand demand and market conditions.
• Assist in appraisals of real estate developments and analyze housing market dynamics.
