Job summary

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience is required.
• 4 years of hands-on experience in functional and automation testing.
• Experience in functional and automated testing of API and UI.
• Strong hands-on with test automation tools Selenium, Playwright, Cypress and Cucumber.
• Experience with Karate is a must.
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit.
• Experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions/DevOps.
• Strong technical skills Java, SQL, AWS and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain BDD style automation frameworks using Cucumber fully integrated into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub) and Groovy scripts.
• Architect and develop custom automation frameworks (BDD, TestNG, data-driven, hybrid) for scalable, maintainable test solutions.
• Own QA automation tasks in JIRA, ensuring traceability and acceptance criteria are met.
• Collaborate in design and code reviews to ensure scalable, modular, maintainable test infrastructure across web, API and backend systems.
• Work with development and DevOps teams to optimize quality gates and drive early defect detection.
• Analyze and validate applications using black/white box techniques and deep understanding of business logic and code paths.
• Create and manage detailed test cases and test suites with strong coverage across platforms.
