Job summary

Capgemini Dallas/Irving, NY is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer (SDET) to drive automated testing across migration and modernization programs. You will build and maintain UI/API test suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, and ensure quality standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with development teams and advanced testing practices. Ideal candidates have 6–9 years of testing experience, with strong Java, Selenium, REST API, and framework development skills.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG/JUnit.
• Proficient in REST API testing and automation framework development.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and Agile/DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute testing strategies for migration, modernization and remediation programs.
• Develop and maintain UI/API/integration/ regression test suites.
• Automate testing within CI/CD pipelines and report quality metrics.
• Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with development teams to enable Shift-Left testing.
