Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Spring, TX, is seeking an experienced Test Lead to head testing across multiple projects, driving automation initiatives and shaping QA processes. You will mentor QA and Automation Engineers, manage GitHub repositories, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality software releases.

Qualifications

• 10 years' experience in test management across multiple projects.
• Hands-on with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress or similar.
• Proficient API testing with Postman and REST Assured.
• Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Strong GitHub, CI/CD experience using Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Programming experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# and SQL.
• Proven ability to lead QA and Automation teams in Agile/Scrum.
• Mentoring, code reviews, resource planning and quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing activities, including strategy, planning, execution, and release sign-offs.
• Design and enhance automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
• Drive test automation adoption to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Manage GitHub repos and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support build validation, deployment testing, and release management.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to QA engineers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet quality objectives and deadlines.
• Monitor metrics, perform root-cause analysis, and drive process improvements.
