Job summary

Capgemini in Whippany, NJ seeks a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Core Java, Selenium, and REST Assured. This role emphasizes API and UI automation, framework development, and CI/CD integration.

You will work with cross-functional teams to improve testing efficiency, implement best practices, and contribute to enterprise-level quality initiatives in an onsite/hybrid setup from Day 1.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in Quality Engineering and Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java.
• Selenium WebDriver and Java experience.
• REST Assured for API automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test solutions using Core Java, Selenium, and REST Assured.
• Build and enhance UI and API automation frameworks.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Write reliable XPath/CSS selectors for UI tests.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to improve quality.
• Participate in code reviews and drive best practices.
