Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering.
• 0-2 years' experience in the industry.
• Thorough knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods.
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Detail-oriented and able to tackle multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of the industry and the Company's competitors.
• Excellent multitasking skills, with ability to perform duties outside of scope when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe and secure work environment by coordinating safety meetings, incident investigations, and maintaining employee involvement.
• Assist project managers and superintendents in executing the project life cycle.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan and manage HVAC and plumbing installations to meet code and project requirements, on time and under budget.
• Participate in meetings to support successful project and departmental goals.
• Assist in preparing vendor and subcontractor purchase orders, submittals, and shop drawings to reflect drawings, specs, and estimates.
• Contribute to monthly reports and cost reviews, capturing deviations from plan or schedule; work with project team to bring project in on time and under budget.
• Assist with estimating change orders, project documentation, and project close-out, including commissioning requirements.
• Engage with the project team across the lifecycle to develop a career in the mechanical industry.
