Job summary

API Heat Transfer in Buffalo, NY seeks a Junior Project Manager to support coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders. You will assist Project Managers with documentation, expediting, compliance, and customer communications, leveraging strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities include document control, production and shop expediting, inspection coordination, and international compliance support.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or engineered-to-order environments preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Document Control & Customer Approvals: manage and track customer approval documents and coordinate submissions.
Production & Shop Expediting: act as liaison between Project Management and manufacturing, monitor milestones.
Inspection Coordination: schedule witness/hold-point inspections and ensure readiness.
Customer-Facing Communication: provide regular updates and support client meetings.
Foreign Registration & Compliance: assist with submission/tracking of foreign docs and ensure compliance.
Project Support & Administration: assist with schedules, risk tracking, and maintaining records.
