DH Pace Company, Inc. is hiring for an Entry-level Project Manager in our National Accounts Facilities department.

This role is located on-site at our corporate headquarters in Olathe, KS! We are seeking candidates who have a Construction Management degree or two-years of work experience as a Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Engineer at a construction/service company, sub-contractor, property management firm, or similar work environment.

Qualifications

• Construction Management degree or 2 years’ experience as a Project Coordinator/Assistant PM/Engineer in a construction/service firm preferred.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment focused on deadlines.
• Mechanically minded or inclined.
• Strong mathematical ability; must verify bids for accuracy.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, customer relations, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review construction project plans and specifications to determine materials needed, ordering materials, and coordinating with outside vendors to schedule installations within budget parameters.
• Direct and coordinate activities to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget; review status reports and provide updates to staff and clients.
• Present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers; communicate technical findings effectively.
• Master project coordination and problem solving with good judgment and forecasting.
• Follow administrative procedures for management of projects on time and under budget.
• Monitor and review all projects to ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met.
• Determine innovative solutions to problems concerning execution of jobs.
• Help maintain job files by gathering information to ensure projects are completed and billed accurately.
• Work with strategic partners and internal service team in establishing and adhering to service level agreements.
• Maintain a positive attitude toward customers and fellow employees.
