Job summary

Murrelektronik North America in Suwanee, GA, is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate design-to-production efforts for electronic controls and connectivity products. Based on-site in Suwanee, you will bridge Plymouth and Suwanee teams via online meetings and shared tools.

You will organize schedules, track action items, support engineering releases and changes, and help remove blockers as projects progress, gaining hands-on experience in engineering operations and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or mechatronics).
• 0–2 years of professional engineering, manufacturing, or project coordination experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple workstreams.
• Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable in online meetings.
• Ability to take ownership, learn from feedback, and follow tasks to completion.
• Resilience when priorities change or projects become stressful.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain project plans, timelines, action lists, and dashboards (Monday.com) for new product development following ISO 9001 stage gate.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities between Plymouth and Suwanee teams via online meetings and shared tools.
• Lead recurring project meetings and track decisions, owners, due dates, and actions.
• Track scope, schedules, risks, dependencies and escalate issues when support is needed.
• Translate engineering plans into clear manufacturing actions for prototypes, pilot builds and launches.
• Coordinate design reviews, product certifications, documentation releases, prototypes, and pilot runs.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain and suppliers to remove blockers.
