Job summary

Socomec North America is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at the Suwanee facility, ensuring safe, efficient assembly of low voltage electrical equipment. You will coordinate production plans, lead cross-functional teams, and drive improvements to meet quality, delivery, and budget targets.

The role requires a decade of leadership in a high-mix environment, a technical or business degree, and strong ERP/Lean Six Sigma experience.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in a low volume / high mix environment, ideally in electrical manufacturing.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business; master’s is a plus.
Proven ability to build and maintain a safety-first culture.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
Mastering of ERP systems.
Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement techniques (lean, 6 sigma, 5S).
Entrepreneurial, resourceful, energetic with a results-driven mindset.
Strong verbal and written communication with business acumen.

Responsibilities

Develop annual operational plans with NAM leadership to meet objectives.
Provide leadership and strategic direction to manufacturing teams.
Ensure product quality and on-time delivery.
Provide actionable analyses and presentations to senior leaders for decision making.
Support implementation of new production lines and product introductions.
Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies.
Optimize workflow, equipment use, and workforce management.
Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and maximize resource use.
