Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations seeks a Project Control Analyst I to support project financial performance through planning, tracking, and reporting. You will partner with project managers to maintain baselines and cost inputs, enabling informed decisions.

The role includes month-end close, budgeting, EACs, and variance analysis, plus invoicing, reporting, and earned value when needed. Strong communication with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to a variety of stakeholders.
• 0-2 years of experience in a financial analysis, FP&A, or project controls role.
• Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and PivotTables.
• Solid understanding of EACs, ETCs, unbilled analysis, and core project financial concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in driving project financial performance through effective planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Consolidate, analyze, and present monthly and quarterly financial forecasts; review labor utilization and provide insights for decisions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for data requests, financial analyses, and issue resolution.
