Job summary

Akima, LLC is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to be the financial business partner for Operations within the Facilities Solutions Group. You will lead financial planning, reporting, and analysis for one or more subsidiaries, interfacing with senior leaders and corporate staff to drive performance and compliance.

You will manage budgeting, forecasting, quarterly business reviews, and rate-setting, using Deltek Costpoint and Cognos to produce actionable metrics that inform strategic decisions in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of professional experience in a financial management role for a Federal Contractor.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint (project/account/org structures, cost and burden process, revenue recognition formulas, inquiries, and reports).
• Experience with government contract types (T&M, CPFF, FFP, CP).
• Working knowledge of indirect rates, rate pools, and allocations.
• Understanding of GAAP, Revenue Recognition, and Deferred Revenue.
• Strong business acumen and financial prudence.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and distributes periodic, quarterly, and annual financial statements with variance reporting to subsidiary managers using Deltek Costpoint and Cognos.
• Develops data for KPIs to monitor performance and early warning indicators.
• Leads budgeting and forecasting for subsidiaries; prepares annual budgets.
• Leads Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Maintains rate pool integrity and manages rates to provisional and billing rates.
• Supports compliance and audit activities including responses to DCAA.
