Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, able to present complex financial information to stakeholders.
• 0-2 years of experience in a financial analysis, FP&A, or project controls role.
• Excel proficiency including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and PivotTables.
• Solid understanding of EACs, ETCs, unbilled analysis, and core project financial concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in driving project financial performance through planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Consolidate, analyze, and present monthly and quarterly financial forecasts; review labor utilization.
• Serve as primary contact for data requests, financial analyses, and issue resolution.
• Complete month-end accounting tasks and reconciliations.
• Analyze monthly results and deliver reports highlighting budget impacts and contract performance.
• Identify and explain variances in revenue and gross margin; present findings in reviews.
• Develop budgets and EACs with program leadership; monitor actuals and variances.
• Oversee project setup activities within Costpoint and produce forecasts.
• Process subcontractor and vendor payments; monitor invoicing and collections.
• Support project reviews, risk analyses, schedule updates, and reporting.
• Generate and interpret project financial reports; enforce timecard/expense policies.
• Review contracts, assist pricing extensions, and prepare funding notifications.
