Jefferson Solutions Group is seeking a Junior Procurement Specialist to provide acquisition support to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). This role will be remote and salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and Federal Acquisition experience, with responsibilities spanning market research, documentation for source selections, and contract management support.

• Three (3) years of Federal Acquisition experience.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, writing and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to execute all project activities.
• Comprehensive Federal Acquisition knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Works under limited direction of team lead or project manager.
• Perform market research and assist Government personnel with acquisition strategies or program management alternatives.
• Coordinate documentation for source selections to support Past Performance Assessments and Proposal Pricing Reviews.
• Obtain rate and technical review information to help the Government assess contractor proposals.
• Enter contract data into contract management systems.
• Provide administration support of complex contracts of all types.
• Support cost, schedule and technical analysis of contractor performance on various projects.
• Research Government directives and applicable statutes relevant to responsibilities.
• Compile information and perform assessments.
• Participate in meetings and program reviews; perform outreach and liaison responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Works under limited direction of team lead, or project manager.


• Typical duties include performing market research and assisting Government personnel by suggesting or reviewing acquisition strategies or program management alternatives to government Contracting Officer,


• Takes leadership role in coordinating the documentation for source selections to support Past Performance Assessment and Proposal Pricing Reviews.


• Obtains appropriate rate and technical review information to allow the Government to assess contractor proposals.


• Enters contract data into contract management systems.


• Provides administration support of complex contracts of all types.


• Supports cost, schedule and technical analysis of contractor performance on a wide variety of projects encompassing services, supplies, research and development and major integrated projects.


• Independently researches government directives and policies as well as a applicable statutes to research issues in areas of responsibility.


• Compiles information and performs assessments.


• Participates in and supports meetings and program reviews. Performs outreach and liaison responsibilities. Prepares drafts of written material s.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent


• Three (3)years of Federal Acquisition experience.


• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, writing and analytical skills to effectively interact with program and contracting officials.


• Attention to detail,high standardsof excellence and commitment to perform and execute all project activities successfully.


• Comprehensive Federal Acquisition knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.


• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint


• You must be able to pass a background investigation and favorable fitness/suitability determination.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior CSAW, FAC-C, or DAWIA or industry equivalent


• PRISM experience
