Job summary

ProSync is seeking a Junior-Level Operations Security Specialist to support OPSEC programs protecting sensitive information, missions, personnel, facilities and capabilities. The role emphasizes identifying vulnerabilities, supporting assessments, and documenting program records in a defense contracting environment.

The ideal candidate has under three years of related security experience, a basic grasp of OPSEC concepts, and strong organizational/communication skills.

Qualifications

• Less than three years of experience supporting security, military operations, intelligence, compliance, risk management, or related disciplines.
• Basic understanding of security principles and operational security concepts.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
• Ability to work under the direction of senior security professionals.
• Must hold an active IAT/IAM Level II certification.
• A minimum Top Secret security clearance or higher with SAP/SAR eligibility is required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Support OPSEC activities designed to protect sensitive and mission-critical information.
• Assist with identifying critical information, vulnerabilities, and potential indicators that could be exploited by adversaries.
• Support security assessments, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Assist in maintaining OPSEC documentation, reports, plans, and program records.
• Monitor operational activities to help ensure compliance with established security policies and procedures.
• Support OPSEC awareness initiatives, training events, and educational programs.
• Research security guidance and assist with implementing OPSEC controls and mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with security personnel, program teams, and government stakeholders to support operational security requirements.
• Assist with incident reporting, documentation, and corrective action tracking.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and administrative documentation supporting security operations.
• Help identify risks associated with operational activities and provide recommendations to senior personnel.
