Job summary

ProSync Technology Group is seeking a Junior-Level Operations Security Specialist to assist in implementing OPSEC programs and safeguarding sensitive information for DoD and IC missions. The role emphasizes attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and collaboration with security teams to reduce risk.

The candidate should have less than three years in related security disciplines, hold an active IAT/IAM Level II certification, and possess a Bachelor’s or higher degree (or equivalent experience).

Qualifications

• Less than three (3) years of experience in security, military operations, intelligence, compliance, risk management, or related disciplines.
• Basic understanding of security principles and OPSEC concepts.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Ability to work under the direction of senior security professionals.
• Must hold an active IAT/IAM Level II certification.

Responsibilities

• Support OPSEC activities to protect sensitive and mission-critical information.
• Identify critical information, vulnerabilities, and indicators that could be exploited.
• Support security assessments, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Maintain OPSEC documentation, reports, plans, and program records.
• Monitor activities for compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Support OPSEC awareness, training events, and education programs.
• Research security guidance and assist with implementing OPSEC controls.
• Coordinate with security personnel, program teams, and government stakeholders.
• Assist with incident reporting, documentation, and corrective action tracking.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and administrative documentation.
