Job summary

Red Hat, Inc. in Tysons, VA, is seeking a Junior Consultant to join the customer delivery team. You will support on-site delivery, implementation, and adoption of Red Hat technology through the 10‑month FASTER onboarding program, gaining hands-on experience across Cloud, Automation, and AI with senior mentors.

You’ll work on industry solutions, shadow experienced consultants, and develop the technical and communication skills needed to grow within a global open source leader.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated passion for open source and tech
• Strong technical foundation in CS/IT/AI through formal or informal programs
• Experience applying technical skills to Enterprise IT projects
• Motivation for self‑directed learning on new technologies
• Experience with Red Hat products and open source tools is a plus
• Familiarity with scripting (Python/Bash) or programming (Java/Go) preferred
• Customer-focused mindset and ability to translate customer needs into outcomes
• Willingness to travel to client sites and local Red Hat offices
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to present clearly
• Proficiency in English; ability to work in a global team
• Ability to obtain/maintain security clearance as required

Responsibilities

• Support on-site delivery, implementation, and adoption of Red Hat technology
• Participate in the FASTER onboarding program and gain hands-on experience
• Engage in customer projects, shadow senior team members, and contribute to solutions
• Develop technical skills across Cloud, Automation, and AI portfolios
• Interact with Sales teams to align customer value with Red Hat platforms
• Travel to customer sites and Red Hat offices as needed
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
• Grow professionally within a global organization
