Qualifications include an Active Secret Clearance, CompTIA Security+ CE, and 1–2 years of Cisco-focused experience in LAN/WAN, VoIP, TCP/IP, and firewall technologies.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification required.
• 1–2 years of hands-on network engineering experience with Cisco platforms.
• Experience with LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routing/switching, and firewall technologies.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, VLANs, and SONET architectures.
• Experience with VoIP, QoS, and network convergence initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support LAN/WAN, Intranet and Internet, and related data communications systems.
• Maintain network hardware and software; monitor availability and perform maintenance.
• Provide project support involving networks and translate business requirements into telecom designs.
• Develop LAN/WAN designs to support data center migration.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and document resolutions and processes.
• Participate in testing and evaluation of new technologies and change management.
