Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a systems engineer to contribute to system-level design and requirements gathering in Springfield, IL. The role involves customer and test support across project phases, upgrading existing designs, and driving improvements in technologies for new solutions.

The candidate should have 1–3 years in systems engineering, strong TCP/IP and Ethernet proficiency, and solid communication skills to document and present findings effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or a related role.
• Strong understanding of technologies and standards.
• Proficiency in networking, including TCP/IP and Ethernet.
• Proficiency with server and virtualization
• Experience with system engineering and requirements management tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
