Job summary

SGS Consulting seeks a systems engineer to participate in system-level design and requirements gathering in Alton, IL. The role includes customer and test support through project phases, upgrading existing designs, and improving technologies for new solutions.

You will perform root cause analysis, implement complex solutions, and maintain knowledge of video tech, TCP/IP, and Ethernet. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or a related role.
• Strong understanding of technologies and standards.
• Proficiency in networking, including TCP/IP and Ethernet.
• Proficiency with server and virtualization
• Experience with system engineering and requirements management tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
