Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a JR Network Administrator to manage the networking operations across stores, offices, and warehouses. You will handle wired/wireless infrastructure, stage equipment, and work under the Sr. Network Admin to ensure uptime.

Key duties include ticket-driven troubleshooting, firewall and device management, and collaboration with vendors for upgrades. A strong foundation in TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, and VLANs is required, with after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Understanding of OSI or TCP/IP stack.
• Focus on networking infrastructure professionally and academically.
• Intermediate networking troubleshooting skills with desire to find root cause.
• Working knowledge of basic tools (e.g. ping, traceroute, nslookup, CLI).
• Hands on experience configuring/troubleshooting firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, SonicWall).
• Hands on experience with routers, wireless, and ethernet switches (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper).
• Knowledge of VLANs, subnetting, VPN, and change control.
• Ability to participate in rotating on-call after-hours support.
• Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to daily network tickets and alarms as first point of contact.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity, wireless, VPN, and WAN issues.
• Log interactions in ticketing system and follow procedures.
• Support LAN/WAN devices including firewalls, switches, routers and VOIP. اور
• Maintain network documentation and management tools.
• Analyze bandwidth and availability reports for capacity planning.
• Assist in firmware/OS patching and vendor coordination for upgrades.
• Stage and test new store equipment prior to deployment.
• Assist in network security tasks and incident investigations.
• Coordinate after-hours maintenance and store turn-ups across locations.
