Job summary

WK Industrial Services Corporation seeks a Junior Mechanical Systems Millwright Technician to assist with installing, aligning, and maintaining the machinery that powers manufacturing across the country. You’ll learn from seasoned pros and advance hands-on from day one.

You’ll gain skills in precise measurement, blueprints interpretation, and everyday safety practices while contributing to reliable maintenance and careful rigging tasks on diverse job sites.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the millwright trade.
• 3 years of experience in mechanical, construction, industrial, or related work.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Enrollment in or completion of a millwright or related program (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, alignment, and assembly of conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and automated equipment.
• Support leveling, anchoring, grouting, and precision alignment tasks; prepare and fabricate parts.
• Route and install shafts, bearings, belts, and chains.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Assist with tear-downs, rebuilds, and repairs under senior millwright direction.
• Learn rigging practices and assist with hoisting/moving heavy equipment.
