Job summary

PAE in San Francisco is seeking an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our design team in a hybrid office environment. You will help develop mechanical system design, modeling, and documentation for building projects, with exposure to HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection under project leads.

This role emphasizes learning Revit/AutoCAD, reading plans, performing thermal simulations, and applying building codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering for the discipline.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain.
• Internship experience preferred.
• Revit/AutoCAD, TRACE, IES proficiency.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical system design, modeling and documentation.
• Assist with HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection tasks.
• Read plans and understand drawings and codes.
• Perform basic calculations and simulations under supervision.
• Support project team with drafting and documentation.
