Job summary
Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering graduates to join our Irving, Texas office in 2027 for an on-site position. You will engage in analysis, design, and QC deliverables using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, and other tools to support multiple projects.
The role emphasizes learning regulatory practices, collaborating across disciplines, and developing technical skills across suites like MicroStation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and GIS.
Qualifications
- ABET accredited engineering degree required by Summer 2027.
- Majors include Civil and/or Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, Agricultural engineering, or Engineering Technology.
Responsibilities
- Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
- Contribute to pre-construction civil design, planning, permitting, and analysis.
- Collaborate across disciplines to realize clients' visions for built environments.
- Develop familiarity with regulations and company/client standards.
- Learn software programs specific to disciplines (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and/or GIS).
