Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Richardson, Texas is seeking engineering graduates to join our office in 2027. This is not a remote position. Graduates will analyze data, produce deliverables, and QC client work using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, GIS, and other software.

You will assist in pre-construction civil design, permitting, and analysis, collaborating across disciplines to realize clients’ visions while learning company standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree by Summer 2027 in Civil/Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree required.
• Engineering Technology degree considered.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, produce, and QC deliverables using technical software for clients.
• Support pre-construction civil design, planning, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
• Collaborate across disciplines to solve problems and support project managers.
• Learn regulations and Kimley-Horn standards and practices.
• Familiarize with software tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, GIS.
