Job summary

Vantage Elevation, LLC, a leading elevator components manufacturer, seeks a Mechanical Applications Engineer I to design project layouts and technical solutions for specialty equipment in the Bronx, NY. You will ensure compliance with customer specs and manufacturing requirements while coordinating with Sales, Customer Service, Estimating, Engineering, and Manufacturing to deliver reliable results.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor is required, as are strong analytical, math, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related technical field with up to 2 years of experience; or an Associate degree with 2–5 years of experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, or similar CAD software.
• Strong analytical, math, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret customer requirements, specifications, drawings, surveys, and order information.
• Configure applications and equipment using a CPQ system.
• Review and modify bills of materials and parts using an ERP system.
• Process retrofitting projects and modify products as needed.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Estimating, Sales, and Manufacturing to meet client specs.
• Provide technical support for mechanical products.
