Vantage Elevation, LLC in Bronx, New York is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II – Sustainment to support the full product lifecycle of elevator components, including design changes, testing, validation, and corrective actions.

You will work with cross-functional teams, apply DFM/DFA and Lean principles, perform tolerance analyses, and develop 3D CAD models using Autodesk Inventor, with strong documentation and root-cause problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 2–4 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in product development or manufacturing.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD; Autodesk Inventor is a plus; strong GD&T knowledge.
• Experience designing components through testing and production implementation.
• Knowledge of Lean, DFM/DFA, and engineering documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Initiate engineering change processes and documentation for PCOs/ECOs.
• Design, test, validate mechanical components for elevator systems.
• Create and maintain drawings, BOMs, and specs.
• Support manufacturing with troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with elevator codes and safety standards.
