Vantage Elevation, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain embedded software for elevator control systems. You will work with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust software and support field testing in Bronx, NY.

The role requires a strong background in C/C++, real-time embedded OS, and mentoring junior engineers. On-site work with occasional travel is expected, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in real-time embedded software engineering.
• Strong C and C++ programming experience.
• Experience with embedded real-time operating systems.
• Firmware development and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and maintain embedded software for elevator control systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug software and hardware integration.
• Collaborate with field service, manufacturing, and engineering teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices and coding standards.
• Support on-site testing and troubleshooting as needed.
