Responsibilities

• Complete basic maintenance work orders in residential units and common areas.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including painting, patching, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Paint interior walls, doors, trim, and other property surfaces.
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, carpentry, and hardware repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and report safety concerns, property damage, leaks, or equipment problems.
• Maintain clean and attractive grounds, common areas, maintenance spaces, and work areas.
• Provide professional and courteous service while working in occupied apartments.
• Safely use and maintain hand tools, power tools, ladders, equipment, and required protective gear.

We are looking for a Junior Maintenance Tech for our Los Angeles areawho is responsible for assisting with the upkeep, repair, and general appearance of a residential property. This is an entry level position and will perform basic maintenance duties, including painting, apartment preparation, groundskeeping, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs. The Junior Maintenance Technician responds to resident work orders in a professional and timely manner and works under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Complete basic maintenance work orders in residential units and common areas.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including painting, patching, cleaning, and minor repairs.
