Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Idaho is seeking an entry-level Mechanical/Electrical Engineering role within the Advanced Facilities Group. You’ll learn to participate in safety, quality plans and conduct routine M/E construction activities under supervision.

You’ll assist in developing estimates, review options, and support bid analysis, sequencing, and shop drawing processes while growing with a diverse team on large industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or architectural engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 0–2 years construction experience or summer internship/co-op preferred.
• Ability to read plans, drawings and specifications; good MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in safety and quality plans and culture; mentor others.
• Complete entry level mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Develop budgetary M/E estimates from design information using estimating systems.
• Assist in bid analysis and subcontractor selection; support sequencing and coordination.
• Support shop drawing/submittal process and commissioning activities.
