Job summary

Bank of Hope is seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist I in Los Angeles to support the Business Lending Center. You will process loan boarding, closing, and document uploads, and manage loan servicing tasks including payments and disbursements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year in banking; strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential for handling sensitive inquiries and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Requires excellent written and oral communication; professional in person, writing, and phone.
• Strong analytical skills to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.
• Must think critically and develop solutions when needed.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of Bank personnel, departments, and customers.
• Knowledge of loan operations policies, banking regulations, and state/federal requirements.
• Proficient in interpreting technical instructions and handling complex data.

Responsibilities

• Process loan boarding, closing, scanning and input tickler into Global Wave.
• Upload final signed loan documents including CCR/CCM into Global Wave.
• Operate Loan Servicing window to receive loan payments.
• Process loan disbursements (Advance, Construction & Multi-Advance).
• Process demands, payoffs, and collateral release after payoff.
• Handle Loan Servicing Requests (system changes, impairment, non‑accrual, etc.).
• Input collateral information and upload into Global Wave.
• Manage vault filing and all invoices.
