Job summary

Sterlington PLLC seeks a Junior Litigation Associate to work directly with partners and senior associates on complex matters. This is not a volume-driven role and requires ownership, strong research, and the ability to handle sophisticated issues with limited supervision.

You will work across a broad range of disputes, including complex commercial litigation, arbitration, employment, business and shareholder matters, securities and fraud issues, IP/privacy/trade secrets, and related litigation

Qualifications

• D. from an ABA-accredited law school; law school transcript required.
• Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; preferred: NY, CA, DE, IL, DC, FL or TX
• Strong academic record, top of the class at a well-regarded law school
• Meaningful hands-on litigation experience beyond research and memo writing; stand-up in court, arbitration, or hearings is a plus
• Exposure to AI tools such as Claude or Harvey is a bonus

• Take true ownership of their work.
• Operate with growing autonomy and do thorough research with minimal oversight.
• Ability to work long hours when matters demand.
• Handle a broad range of high-level disputes across multiple practice areas.
