Our growing Corporate and Commercial Litigation practice is seeking a Litigation Associate to join a collaborative team handling sophisticated disputes for public and private companies, investors, executives, boards of directors, and financial institutions. This is an exceptional opportunity to take ownership of challenging matters involving securities litigation, shareholder disputes, M&A-related conflicts, corporate governance issues, joint ventures, and complex business litigation.

Unlike many large firms where associates are confined to discrete tasks, you'll play a substantive role in case strategy, client counseling, depositions, courtroom appearances, and business development efforts while working alongside experienced litigators who are invested in your professional growth.

Why This Opportunity?
  • Work on sophisticated, high-profile corporate litigation matters.
  • Gain meaningful responsibility and client-facing experience.
  • Partner directly with experienced trial lawyers and litigators.
  • Develop expertise in securities, shareholder, and M&A-related disputes.
  • Participate in hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trial preparation.
  • Join a collaborative team that values mentorship, professional development, and long-term career growth.
  • Clear opportunity to build a successful practice and advance within the firm.
What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of the litigation team, you will:

  • Manage and support complex commercial and corporate litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Conduct legal research, analyze issues, and develop strategic recommendations for clients and case teams.
  • Draft substantive motions, briefs, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other key litigation documents.
  • Lead and manage all phases of discovery, including document review, productions, privilege analysis, and fact development.
  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, witness examinations, and expert discovery.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and other dispute resolution forums.
  • Advise clients on matters involving securities law, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and transactional disputes.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop litigation strategy, manage case budgets, and identify practical solutions for clients.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Participate in client development initiatives, networking, and thought leadership opportunities.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar admission and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Approximately 3-7 years of litigation experience (flexible based on qualifications and experience).
  • Strong experience drafting motions, briefs, pleadings, and other substantive legal documents.
  • Excellent analytical, legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities while delivering exceptional client service.
Preferred Experience
  • Securities litigation or securities regulatory matters.
  • Shareholder, partnership, or corporate governance disputes.

The Ideal Candidate

You are a driven and intellectually curious litigator who enjoys tackling complex legal issues and working directly with clients. You are looking for more than just another associate role-you want the opportunity to build expertise, take ownership of meaningful work, and develop into a trusted advisor and advocate.

If you're seeking sophisticated litigation work, strong mentorship, and a platform for long-term career growth, we'd love to hear from you.
