Job summary

lab automation is looking for an entry-to-junior level Field Service Technician (FST) to support automated liquid handling product lines. This role offers extensive training to maintain and troubleshoot Hamilton Robotics systems at customer labs.

The ideal candidate will assist with preventative maintenance, technical support, and documentation of service activities. Requirements include an Associate’s degree in a relevant field and a strong mechanical aptitude. Travel up to 75% is expected for this role.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience preferred, technical training or equivalent military training.
• Basic hands-on familiarity with Hamilton Robotics systems is beneficial.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic tool knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, system cleanings, and calibrations on Hamilton liquid handlers.
• Assist with complex installations, upgrades, and repairs.
• Diagnose hardware errors and connectivity issues.
• Log service calls and maintenance records accurately.

Skills

Mechanical aptitude

Knowledge of multi-meters

Comfortable working around PCs

Education

Associate’s degree in electronics, biomedical engineering, or robotics
