Job summary

Tata Technologies Inc. Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a KBE Exterior & ADAS Junior Engineer to support advanced vehicle development.

You will perform hands-on Siemens NX modeling, exterior component development, and ADAS sensor packaging studies under experienced engineers. Responsibilities include creating and updating CAD models, evaluating packaging clearances, and documenting results for review by engineering specialists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Willingness to learn KBE methods and apply feedback.
• Hands-on NX modeling experience creating and modifying parts or assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Create and update CAD models, evaluate packaging clearances and geometric constraints.
• Document assumptions and results; communicate findings to Studio Engineering and Product Design Office.
• Support ADAS packaging studies and pedestrian protection evaluations using established methods.
• Develop camera packaging and field-of-view studies using KBE templates; coordinate with suppliers.
