Tata Technologies is seeking an Experienced KBE Design Engineer in Auburn Hills, MI to develop and maintain parametric CAD templates and automation frameworks for automotive programs.
The role integrates Body, Structure, Closures, and Exterior systems with engineering standards to improve design quality, consistency, and development efficiency. Strong KBE and CAD skills are essential.
Qualifications
- ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace engineering.
- Expert knowledge of TeamCenter, NX and Vis Pro viewer.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- High level of English communication (speaking, reading, writing).
- CAD design experience in automotive programs.
Responsabilités
- Define parameters and standards for critical systems and integrate into CAD templates.
- Develop associative parametric modeling and CAD model/template setup.
- Develop requirements, buy-off, and change processes for engineering templates.
- Adapt studio surface data to meet modeling requirements.
- Support BIW, Structures, Closures, and Exterior domains within KBE.
- Leverage KBE to improve design quality, consistency, and efficiency.
