Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an entry-level Technical Writer to support senior editors and subject matter experts. You will edit, format, and ensure accuracy across Joint Doctrine publications, maintaining consistency with established terminology and editorial standards.

You’ll learn joint doctrine editorial standards and help ensure content is accessible, well-structured, and publication-ready, in alignment with DoD processes and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience editing or formatting professional documents.
• Experience using document formatting features in Microsoft Word, Adobe, CorelDraw, and Photoshop.
• Experience editing documents according to set standards for order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
• Knowledge of Joint or Service doctrine development and publishing processes.
• Ability to follow established editorial rules, workflows, and production timelines.
• Secret clearance.
• Associate’s degree or 2+ years of editing experience in lieu of a degree.
