Qualifications

• Experience with IT and technology; self-study, technical school or work experience accepted.
• Associate degree or technical equivalent required or preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer-service experience is desirable.
• Ability to follow security protocols in a data-center environment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities that are time-sensitive.
• Willingness to learn quickly and pursue relevant certifications.
• Must pass pre-employment screens.

Responsibilities

• Handle Tier 1 tickets, daily shift walks, routine audits, remote hands requests.
• Follow security protocols to allow client access requests inside the data center.
• Enforce security protocols when required for contractual obligations.
• Follow shipping and receiving procedures for secure transport of materials.
• Cover the front desk phone and conduct security checks.
• Process and prioritize client and employee technical requests by phone, email or in person.
• Log all requests in the ticketing system and document important customizations.
