Expedient is hiring an entry-level IT Support Associate for our Upper Arlington, OH data centre. You will join the Operations Support Center team and receive fully paid training, hands-on experience with virtualization, networking, data protection, Windows, Linux/Unix, and other infrastructure topics.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT environment or related field
• Customer-service experience preferred
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+ or Network+ preferred
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced data centre environment
• Professional and patient in client-facing interactions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Handle Tier 1 tickets, daily shift walks, routine audits, remote hands requests.
• Follow security protocols to manage client access inside the data centre.
• Enforce security protocols when required and enforce contractual obligations.
• Follow shipping and receiving procedures for secure transport of materials.
• Cover the front desk phone and conduct security checks.
• Process and prioritize client and employee technical requests via phone, email, or in person.
• Log all requests and activities in the ticketing system for future reference.
