Job summary

Verigent is seeking a Jr. IT Project Manager in Herndon, VA to coordinate activities supporting program managers and teams that design, install, and maintain services.

You will track projects from initiation through completion and prepare deliverables, including status reports and reporting on property items. The role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, with responsibilities to ensure milestones, contract compliance, and customer satisfaction while applying industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in project management, tech management, business, or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience; or minimum five years of professional work experience.
• General experience includes customer service, project management, network service, and provisioning.
• Must hold a TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities in support of program managers and teams for design, installation and maintenance of services.
• Track and monitor projects from initiation through completion.
• Prepare deliverables and reports; manage inventory and property items.
• Analyze contracts and network requirements to initiate service orders and projects.
• Work with Government reps, engineers and program managers to develop scope, timeline and communication plans.
• Ensure commitments, deliverables, and customer satisfaction meet requirements.
• Promote best practices to enhance project success and efficiency.
• Direct on-time implementation of products and resolve issues to ensure timely delivery.
