Job summary

GRVTY is seeking a Cyber Security Project Engineer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance to join a premier project in Herndon, VA. The role focuses on penetration testing, ethical hacking, and risk analysis to inform strategic decisions for enterprise information systems.

The candidate will work on advanced security testing, design, and review of configurations across Windows, Linux, and virtual platforms, including hypervisors and cloud environments. On-site work required in Northern VA.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• Demonstrated cyber security work experience.
• Experience with cyber penetration testing.
• Experience leveraging adversarial tactics for hands-on security testing.
• Experience applying attack methods and system exploitation techniques.
• Knowledge of security principles for Linux, Windows, and virtualization.
• Experience designing or testing IT security architectures.
• Experience performing network security analysis.
• Experience analyzing network architectures.
• Experience using network management tools.
• Experience developing risk management methodologies.
• Experience analyzing test results for risk mitigation.
• Experience testing enterprise systems and hypervisors.

Responsibilities

• Support penetration testing and ethical hacking to assess risk and vulnerabilities.
• Provide senior leadership with documented, actionable data for strategic decisions.
• Contribute to IT security architecture design, testing, and implementation.
