Job summary

Cimarron Software Services, Inc. is seeking a Jr Help Desk Support Specialist to support the Missile Defense Agency on the IRES contract at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama. This is a 100% onsite, full-time position with clear advancement paths and the chance to work with Enterprise Service Desk processes.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ years of general work experience, IT exposure, DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. U.S.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required due to facility security.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• 6+ years of general full-time work experience.
• 6+ months of IT experience.
• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Access Database.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with geographically dispersed teams.
• Hold DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification or higher.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data to provide technical resolutions.
• Provide remote troubleshooting for break/fix issues.
• Escalate and provide status updates to MDA customers.
• Support enterprise projects affecting Service Desk workflows.
• Resolve daily battle rhythm tasks.
• Track all work using the Remedy ticketing system.
• Utilize the knowledge base to assist customers.
