Washington State University invites applicants for an IT Business Analyst - Entry to join Facilities Services on the Pullman campus. You will bridge business needs and technical solutions, collaborating with about 15 divisions to boost efficiency through technology, data-driven insights, and process evaluation.

This full-time, permanent, on-site role supports hardware/software, reports, automation, and emerging technologies like AI to enhance operations.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in MIS, CS, Business Analytics or related field, plus 2 years in DB tech and reporting tools.
Demonstrated customer services experience in a corporate or higher education setting.
One year experience managing Windows desktops in an enterprise Active Directory environment.
Experience independently managing day-to-day responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Support Facilities Services by evaluating, designing, and implementing technology solutions.
Develop and maintain reports across multiple platforms.
Assist with automation and scripting solutions.
Support emerging technologies such as AI to enhance operations and data-driven decision-making.
Provide technical support for hardware and software systems across the Facilities organization.
