Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a Jr. IPOC Specialist in Springfield, VA to deliver high-quality customer service for VTC and telecommunications support. You will generate status reports, assist with diagnostics, and escalate issues while maintaining detailed records for leadership review.

The role requires a high school diploma or higher with IT experience, DoD 8140 IAT Level I expected within 6 months, and TS/SCI clearance. You will work a 2:00 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher is preferred.
• Various IT experience with focus on service desk support.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level I: A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily status reports and graphical reporting aids.
• Track system progress and email status updates to leadership.
• Provide technical assistance for computer systems, hardware, or software.
• Respond to queries, run diagnostics, and implement solutions.
• Assist in ticket creation and incident management.
• Utilize First Call Resolution where possible.
• Support account resets, troubleshooting and security issue resolution.
