Job summary

N26 is seeking an iOS Engineer to join the Everyday Banking Payments Team in a hybrid role from Barcelona or Berlin. You will work on high-volume, secure transactions and contribute to a modern iOS stack.

You will collaborate with product, customers and stakeholders, own quality through tests, participate in the iOS community, and drive end-to-end delivery across the production lifecycle while expanding your skills.

Qualifications

• Strong Swift & iOS SDK expertise with concurrency, memory management, and local data persistence.
• Architectural awareness: MVVM, VIPER, or Modular Architecture in large-scale codebases.
• Quality-first mindset with unit and integration tests for critical app workflows.
• Collaborative attitude in an agile, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Build technologies that make banking more human.
• Proactively improve the iOS tech stack and ensure high quality standards.
• Advocate for quality, security and continuous improvement in the team.
• Participate in the N26 iOS community and foster cross-team collaboration.
• Work with Product, customers and stakeholders to understand needs and build the right solutions.
• Expand and develop your iOS knowledge, skills, and technology expertise.
• Cover the full production lifecycle of all team services.
• Close collaboration with Engineering Manager and Tech Leads.
• Autonomously drive progress end-to-end and find solutions.
