N26 Inc. is seeking an iOS Engineer to join our Payments Team in a hybrid role from Barcelona or Berlin. You will collaborate in cross-functional teams, take ownership of features, and drive high-quality code with Kotlin-based Android elements and modern design principles.

You’ll work within Agile practices and contribute to an innovative digital banking platform. The role emphasizes testability, knowledge sharing, and using cutting-edge tech, with generous benefits and visa-supported relocation

About the Opportunity

You will work in the Everyday Banking domain, within the Payments Team. This is where all payment and card transactions are being managed and processed by modern & high-volume systems that power the best customer experience possible. These teams make banking easy, reliable, seamless and secure - everyday for every customer.

This is a hybrid role from Barcelona or Berlin.

Our cross-functional teams are passionate about collaboration and sharing knowledge, as well as working with a high degree of autonomy. As an iOS Engineer at N26, you will be encouraged to embrace the latest technological updates and given a platform to work on complex, interesting problems on a daily basis.

In this role, you will:

• Work in cross-functional teams, understand how the entire puzzle fits together instead of just being a solitary piece

• Take ownership and have an impact on the product

• Ask "Why?" and be prepared to be asked, "What do you think about it?"

• Engage in knowledge-sharing within your team as well as beyond

• Understand and work with Agile development methodologies

What you need to be successful:

• Thorough experience with the Android Platform and Material Design principles

• Experience with Kotlin

• Experience with Reactive programming - Kotlin Flows and Coroutines

• Able to build software with a focus on testability - Test/Behaviour Driven Development, Dependency Injection

• Experience with Jetpack Compose (nice to have)

Skills:

• Be highly motivated and a fast learner

• Strong bias for action, and getting things done

• Language Skills: full professional proficiency in English
