Job summary

Citi is seeking an iOS Software Engineer to join a cross-functional Agile team delivering customer-facing banking features across mobile and browser platforms. In this role, you will contribute across the full software development lifecycle—from requirements analysis and design review through development, testing, and post-production support.

Your work will shape digital experiences used by Citi customers globally.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in application development with hands-on iOS native development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, a related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) concepts and automated test scripts.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams across the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to write secure, stable, and maintainable code and take ownership of features to delivery.
• Proficiency with collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong communication skills to work across onshore and offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain iOS native applications delivering banking features across mobile platforms.
• Translate designs into working iOS code and collaborate with backend microservices.
• Develop and maintain automated and manual test scripts with a BDD framework and track results.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate coding, testing, and debugging tasks.
• Participate in all SDLC stages from requirements grooming to CI/CD integration and validation.
• Perform functional validations against acceptance criteria and ensure ADA accessibility compliance.
• Analyze defects and performance issues, triage with the team to resolve root causes.
• Support release go-live activities and post-production checks for stable deployments.
